Good! First I’ll say “I’m hungry!”. So today I decided to write about the Dragului restaurant from Predeal (Braşov, Romania).

This restaurant proves that cooking is an art and respect for customers is an art, too. I go there since 2008 and I can‘t criticize anything. The food is very good and the prices are extremely affordable.

This year I was back there with my father and I had the most beautiful surprise. And I do not mean that the food was wonderful and the service was quick. But, let me tell you the story: “We went there for lunch and, as always, was full of clients. We waited (not for long) until we got a table and then we decide what to order. I took a soup and my Dad took a Cordon Bleu. They brought me my soup and then we had to wait (normally) for my father’s Cordon Bleu, because I do not like to eat alone. And here came the surprise… We wanted to talk to waitress to reheat my soup when she come with my father’s Cordon Bleu, but the waitress (who was, however, a super girl) brought me a new soup, a very hot new soup, and took the old cold soup! It was unbelievable! Receiving a new soup! It is not a fairy tale, it’s for real!

Bun! În primul rând o să zic “MI-E FOAME!”. Aşa că azi m-am decis să scriu despre restaurantul Dragului din Predeal.

Acest restaurant dovedește că şi gătitul şi respectul sunt o artă. De 7 ani merg acolo şi nu pot reproșa nimic. Mâncarea e foarte bună, iar prețurile sunt extrem de accesibile.

Anul ăsta am fost din nou acolo cu tatăl meu şi am avut parte de cea mai frumoasă surpriză. Iar aici nu ma refer la faptul că mâncarea a fost minunată şi servirea rapidă. Nuuuu! Dar să vă spun povestea: “Noi ne-am dus acolo la prânz şi ca întotdeauna era plin. Am așteptat până am primit o masă şi ne-am gândit ce să comandăm. Eu am luat felul întâi: ciorbă, iar tata felul al doilea: Cordon Bleu. Mie mi-au adus ciorba şi trebuia să așteptăm să vină şi ce a luat tata pentru că mie nu-mi place să mănânc singură. Şi aici a apărut surpriza… Noi ne gândeam să vorbim la bucătărie să îmi reîncălzească ciorba atunci când vin cu ce comandase tata, dar chelnerița (care a fost, oricum, o super-fată) mi-a adus o ciorbă nouă, fierbinte, şi a luat-o pe cea rece! Nu ne-a venit să credem. Să primim o ciorbă nouă! Să se întâmple aşa ceva în România? A fost uimitor!

Noi recomandăm restaurantul Dragului oricărui om care vrea să se simtă respectat şi care chiar vrea sa mănânce bine.”
