  1. The cabbage rolls and the sausage and the walnut and raisin bread sound delish. I’ll take this opportunity my friend to wish you much joy, happiness, love and peace during the festive seasons and also throughout your journey. Be well.

  2. Here we celebrate Christmas with traditional English food but New Year with Romanian food. On Friday we visited Marinela’s Romanian shop in Leeds and the fridge is now full of Romanian delicacies. We will certainly have salata de boeuf on New Year’s Eve and possibly piftie (one of my favourite Romanian foods). At it is also Petronela’s birthday we will have ‘open house’ on 31 Dec so many of our friends and neighbours will be ‘feasting’ Romanian style.
Christmas is quiet, just the two of us, a lovely peaceful day.
Merry Christmas to you and yours Monica. Have a lovely time. Xx
