Not full of words, but full of emotions

More echoes about my little book, “Carrying all the wounds in my smile”. They are so beautiful that sometimes I think that it was written by someone else. I let you read them.

The title alone should urge you to pick this marvelous book, “Carrying all the wounds in my smile”. Right from the beginning, Monica takes us into a mental journey with questions such as “If you don’t burn yourself, how do you realize that the fire is burning?” or “What is optimism?” or “Joy, a strange emotion?” such powerful questions that make you look into your life a little bit closer. In my humble opinion, this is not just a book full of words; it is a book full of emotions, and a raw look at the thoughts that go through our heads when young. A BOOK FULL OF HONESTY. There’s so much I could say about this book, but I rather bite my tongue and let you (the reader) decide for yourselves. You will not regret picking up this book. I am proud of you Monica.

It is a remarkable book. It would be so if written by a ‘mature’ adult but the fact it is written by someone only 17/18 years old is truly astounding. No male of any age could have written it but the insights would come to most women much later.

It is also a truly brave book; you reveal your innermost thoughts and feelings in a way few would venture to do.

Every parent of a teenage girl should read it.
