When it comes to making decisions… you’re a kid.
When you pull a prank… you’re almost an adult.
You’re not a kid… nor an adult… You’re trapped between two worlds. Or… you do not belong to any world. You’re a wanderer. You belong to no one.
So… I ask again… What is adolescence?
The feelings you live are contradictory. Nobody takes you seriously, but you have to be serious. Because you’re almost an adult, that’s what you are told.
And… over all… the first love comes… the first bitter disappointments come… And you do not know who you are… what you are… what to do… You want to be understood, but… you do not even understand yourself. You are caught in a trap of time and you can not escape.
About all of this and much more, I wrote in this book dedicated to My Generation: ”Carrying all the wounds in my smile”
.
Were you once a teenager?
Then, you will be happy to remember… or not… that time of your life. You will remember the emotions that you have lived and that have suffocated you on your way to maturity. You will remember your missteps and the way you managed, in the end, to straighten things out.
Do you have a teenage girl in your house?
By reading the book I wrote, you will feel (again) what she feels. You will see life through her eyes. You will be able to join her on her sinuous journey of self-seeking. You will be able to help her make the right choices without brutally intervening and pushing her away from you. Here you find all the emotions lived and felt by your teenage daughter every day.
Help her know herself! Help her grow mature! Help her be free!
Are you a teenager?
I’m sure you’ll find yourself in this book. You have lived and live these emotions daily. Every day you seek yourself… you find yourself… you lose yourself… you find yourself again… so then you lose yourself again… and so on.

I made a comment earlier but did something wrong as it hasn’t appeared. I’ll try again later but for now just let you know I bought both Romanian and English versions; the Romanian will keep me ‘amused’ for a while, the English version I’m going to give to an English adolescent, another good friend with remarkable talent, and see what she thinks and give an English teenager’s view on adolescence. Now I’m off to cook breakfast (always late on Sunday!). x

You’re my first buyer so… no complaints till now 🙂
But I’ll send you the epub version. Check your email 🙂

The PDFs work perfectly. The email you sent to I only use for Paypal, which is how I paid for your books. If you send another email to that yahoo address I’ll send you back my ‘personal’ email. I don’t want to put it here for obvious reasons.

Glad to hear that it works 🙂
The email I use to sent you the book is an email that I use more than my personal email. 🙂

It’s nice to have a late breakfast, right? Enjoy it!
When I saw that someone bought both versions of my book I thought of you right away. Don’t ask me why? 🙂
It will be amazing to know what your adolescent friend think about my book 😀
By the way, it would be great if you could write a review for my book on Amazon, after you read it. Of course, if you have time.

I’ll write a review on Amazon with pleasure when I’ve read the book. It might take me a little while as I’m determined to read it in Romanian and only then will I look at the English version. The friend I’m giving the English version to is Hattie, a remarkable singer/song-writer. She’s perhaps a year younger than you? You can see her during performced in recent post on my other blog; she’s the first picture in the gallery but lower down you see her dancing with me !!!!!!

WOW!!! I must say this book was really an emotional rollercoaster ride! I don’t know what to say! How do you review anybody’s feelings, most inner thoughts, and intimate emotions? It’s not an ordinary book, where you judge a story and its characters and such. This book is so personal. I have discovered a lot of my own personal feelings in your book. I can find myself in there. I can’t hardly wait to read the next volume of that series! Thank you, Monica Pana for sharing your wounds and remarkable smile. Here’s a smile right back at you.

Sounds like an interesting book! We’ve had some experience with adolescents having raised 2 girls and 3 boys … now most of them married and a couple grandchildren. We are thankful that they made it ok through adolescence and really like each and still talk to us. Btw – I am 61 years old but still act/think like an adolescent on special occasions – haha!
