Florența – Orașul Capodoperă – Florence – The Masterpiece City

Hei! Tu..?

Fiecare clădire reprezintă o putere a perioadei renascentiste.

Hey! You..? Could you imagine your life 500 years ago? Can you imagine yourself then? Can you know how to live simple? Letting yourself be worn by nature, living healthily? Can you figure out that everything, but everything that was built in those times was manual? No crane, no technology… just art. Only art shows us the constructions of the past. And our steps lead us to miracles long gone.

Florence… A dream town. A sea of antiquities. A sea of treasures. Each building represents a power of the Renaissance period. So much history contained in relatively small spaces…

In 6 days there, I was introduced to a whole new world. An old world that is born through paintings and architecture. Thousands of people delighted by stunning masterpieces. A city that offers peace, architectural wonders and respect. The Italians are known for this, and I noticed that every time I was at a restaurant. Everything’s impeccable, nothing to reproach. Many roads paved with memories and stories. A city that combines modernity with history. A city of which you can fall in love at first sight.

      • I think in prose it is difficult to choose; English has some big advantages including a much, much bigger vocabulary and the grammar opens up some interesting possibilities not readily available in Romanian. But when it comes to poetry, there’s no contest – Romanian every time! This post reads beautifully in both languages but the English, not being your native tongue, is particularly impressive. x

    • When you have what to photograph it’s easy, right? Florence is an awesome town.
Thank you so much, JC, for your kind words
      Hope you’re fine 🙂
      Mo-hugs ❤

  2. Your pictures alone make Florence look like one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

When I was younger I used to play a video game called Assassin’s Creed II. It was set during the Italian Renaissance, and Florence was one of the most important locations. Since then I’ve wanted to visit Florence in real life, as well as the Tuscan countryside. Thankfully Italian is similar to Spanish, which I’m moderately familiar with 😉

Sincer, nici nu as vrea. Minunate fotografii
