Happiness is like a butterfly
Souls in infusions, hearts at rehabilitation, tired and confused minds… you will see this everywhere. Everywhere you’ll see pain, fear and power.
Life is based on suffering, and the happy one loses everything. What does it mean to be happy? Does it mean something? How can happiness be felt? There’s so much pain in tears and in smiles that happiness seems to be too high, hidden thru nebulae, far from what we are allowed to see.
The mind’s eye can see it, can feel it, but heart runs. It is hiding among the tall trees in front of the tower where it lies hit by arrows. Sometimes it attacks and penetrates, saying that resists, but
the soul is kneeling in front of illusions of happiness.
When the suffering strikes, the heart screams. When the pain wins, the heart runs. You do not have what to do. You pray to resist and the only thing that remains to do is to look at yourself and tell yourself that you must be strong. That’s all you can do. That life does not end like this. Life is too long for sadness and too short for happiness.
You try to be strong until the end, believing in “it will be fine”. You hope and wait. You remain in the tight circle of your own delusions and desires. You see happiness as a hoax, you no longer believe it… but you know it exists. Maybe there’s for someone else, and you… you were born with the tragedy in your blood and it is written for you to suffer.
Happiness is like a butterfly, as beautiful and as hard to catch.

I really love this one. There is so much truth to it. I especially love the last paragraph.
“You try to be strong until the end, believing in “it will be fine”. You hope and wait. You remain in the tight circle of your own delusions and desires. You see happiness as a hoax, you no longer believe it… but you know it exists. Maybe there’s for someone else, and you… you were born with the tragedy in your blood and it is written for you to suffer.”
That is such a great insight, Monica. Thank you for sharing.

Fericitea = Félicité = Happiness.
Fluture = Papillon = (Fluctuant)
If that is the case, be a butterfly.
Or maybe happiness starts with the chrysalid? 🙂
(One week holiday still?)

Yes, happiness could start with the chrysalid. Why not?
Unfortunately, Tuesday the school begins 😦

Damn! And re-Damn. I was afraid to ask. Unfortunately, in Europe, after a certain age, it becomes hard to find a job. Companies are not willing to pay for experience. Plan B? Setting up a small business? (Food is good. People always eat) 😉

Yeah, nobody pays for experience. They want only young “slaves”.
Unfortunately, food is very expensive in Romania, comparing with other countries. The medium wage is 480 euro/month. So… people buy food and cook it at home 🙂

Yes. It may take time, but I’m sure your father will find something. B-hugs.
