JUMP TO ENGLISH VERSION

Seagulls of Stockholm
Although the sadness of leaving conquered me gradually, Stockholm it made me feel at home. Perhaps because of the sunny days and the divine landscape. I do not know what made me feel so attached. Because I like to walk, I decided to visit the whole city on foot…
Or maybe because the hotel was at the end of town!!! But it was worth it, especially because the Radisson Hotels are excellent.
Back to walk… I went through a very busy and full of shops area, a place where several young men started beating a rhythm and to dance. Of course, the rhythm and the view made me forget to take pictures :))
Originally, we wanted to get to the central station, but stopping in shops or being stolen by landscapes, we managed to get just close.
The best part was when we got into port, where seagulls were very friendly. Even if one of them, a big one, was violent with a small one.
After we left the port, we went on some alleys full of people, but then we got into a park. I can not say we’ve done too much, but the walk was worth it. I slept very well after almost 7 hours of walking.
With nightfall… my trip in the North came to its end. The next day, in the morning, I went at Stockholm airport and after a stopover in Frankfurt, I got home in the evening.
It was nice. It was a dream. It was like in a story.
Staying underneath the Aurora Borealis is not something you do every day. I felt like Alice in Wonderland 🙂

Wow, it sounds like a great day in Stockholm. Sometimes, I enjoy just being in a city for a day. While it is tantalizing because you know you can’t see it all, it makes you appreciate every moment. I’m glad you had a good trip, my friend. Cheers!

Ahh…a magical trip! I’ve yet to witness the northern lights but hope to one day soon. As for Stockholm I went here on my honeymoon and love the city. So friendly, beautiful buildings, great shops and restaurants. We visted some of the islands and palaces. My grandfather was a guard outside the main palace as a young man – amazing to see the place myself and imagine him there.
