The most amazing thing in that building is the fear that you feel when you’re around it
For me, a closed door means a risk and an adventure. If the door is open, the magic disappears. I am attracted by everything is forbidden. And I think that you will observe that from the next experience.
“Near Basarab Bridge, in Bucharest, is a former brewery. A huge and deserted building. I do not know exactly what attracts me to that building, but it’s full of mystery… I often dreamed that building before I get into it. And the curiosity was combined with the desire of adventure and courage and they made me get into the building.
The most amazing thing in that building is the fear that you feel when you’re around it and the cold that makes you shiver. The first time I tried to get into it was in a November peaceful night. I was scared, especially when I saw a light on… And I quit.
I know it sounds like a paranormal story… but this is just the beginning
A few months after, I returned with more courage and I went inside. I saw the brewery from all possible angles, both externally and internally. It was amazing! It looked just like in my nightmares and dreams. I know it sounds like a paranormal story… but this is just the beginning. Even if in my dreams there were not so much garbage and so many shadows on the walls, there you felt constantly watched. It was the same shadow on all walls. See in the photo!
From inside I heard a voice saying something like “stay”…
After I finished the tour of the haunted house, I tried to explain to myself who was that person that I saw. Wishing to find out more I returned, the day before Easter, at the brewery… and to my surprise, the door was locked. There was an entrance through the basement, difficult to access, but there seemed not to be another exit. Near the entrance to the basement was another door with a broken window.
After fifteen minutes of attempts to find an entry I wanted to go, but I couldn’t… From inside I heard a voice saying something like “stay”… I went close to the broken window and I threw with a stone and I asked who’s there? I looked out thru the window and a cold wind came towards to me and made me shiver. Made me remain paralyzed. I felt that I can not move and I was afraid. Then I approached the window to see if I can get in.
In my mind, I felt confused… I felt that I want to go further just because the door was locked with a padlock. I tried to break the padlock but I couldn’t, and I know that I will try to go there again. I want to feel again the adrenaline, the fear and the cold that come along with the tour of the former brewery. “
Maybe it’s because of my age, maybe I am like that or maybe we all are like that. I am attracted by the unknown, by what is forbidden and by what is hard to get.
That’s pretty cool! We have haunted building here, an old TB sanitarium, called Waverly Hills. It’s very old and reportedly some 70,000 people died there, primarily from TB. We’ve been, and some wild experiences. I’m a believer. 😃

So cool…I also enjoy exploring old abandoned places. The office for my last job was in an old psychiatric hospital. I used to go “exploring” after hours and on weekends. I took photos in places I should not have been. Some places I could not get into; they were locked (like your door). There are videos on line about how to get through a lock, but I did not want to risk my job or getting arrested. Your brewery is so cool.

That’s a cool place and a cool story! That old building seems to have a secret life on its own. I’d certainly go and explore it myself if I lived nearby.
