I learned to give a chance to each event that occurs on the way to my future
For years I used the word “never” without any sense: “I will never have trust”, “I will never love”, “I’ll never do this” etc. This word was to me as a watchman in a castle, a seal, a padlock that protect my principles like a shield.
In time, life proved me that “never” is a beginning. The love, the trust, have destroyed the gate defended by principles and made me see the world differently. Principles differentiate us in a society full of bad manners. And I, though I lost track of time, I realized that the word “never”, that once I called for it to protect me, was lost over the years.
Life proved me that “never” is a beginning
And now, I learned to give a chance to each event that occurs on the way to my future. Without thinking anymore that I will “never” do that.
Let’s not forget the winter yet! On my photo blog you can jump over a “Snowy fence” 😀

So true! I am so happy to know that you’ve stopped saying “never”, Monica 🙂 I agree with you that we often prefer to say “no” and “never” instead of “yes” or “why not”…Wonderful post!

Now, “never” became a word like any other word. It was a battle that I win with myself.

Never did seem like such a powerful word at one time. It’s only has the power we choose to give it. Great post, Monica!

But I had many battles with myself untill I decided to use it a little or not at all.

Never is such a long time…You’re right and we must be careful the tings we rule out of our lives. But at this point in life, there are a few things I never want to do again…Cheers!

The more we use the word never, the more we restrict ourselves. Well-said, Monica!

Never say never îşi păstrează valabilitatea atemporală.
