Sometimes, we can use our minds to overcome the dark emotions…to keep them from getting a hold of us. I’ve heard that focusing on things we are grateful for is helpful with this.
On a totally unrelated note…I really like the gif on your site of the cat chasing the butterfly. It’s cute. =)
Ouch. Yeah, better to walk there then. Boston is not great. A few years ago they created some special lanes but they are a part of the street. Some US and Canadian cities are great. Montreal was really good. We tried in London but the idea of cycling on the left side was too much. We only cycled in parks there.
Here we have some nice bike trails outside the city.
I would think the side walks also have people walking on them. In many places in the US they don’t want people riding bikes on the sidewalk. They want the cars to share the road. It is easier said than done. 😕

Yes, we need to control the dark emotions.
You can have the cat, too, by copying the image adress to your blog 😀

Thank you. You seem pretty good at making those gifs.
I made this yesterday at our house with some wet snow that was left: https://flic.kr/p/F8Wkjy

This gif was not made by me. I took it from another blog.

That would have been funny. I could have brought him out this summer when family visits for a party. 😄

I wished I’d thought of it before he melted. Oh well.

I think so. There is no snow left after yesterday’s rain. And I think that is the end of snow this year. Time for flowers and bicycle rides.

Both are good. You live in the city. I prefer walking in the city or the woods. Riding my bike in the city can be an adventure, though. 🚶

In Bucharest it’s more than an adventure, Christopher. We have no special zones for biking and our streets are full of holes.

This is very nice. Here they made lanes on the sidewalk. But the sidewalk is full of parked cars. So, it’s both, annoying and hilarious 🙂

There are some places where you have to walk on the street because of the car which are parked on the sidewalk 😦

Parking n the sidewalk used to happen a lot in the US but not so much now. Do people do that because the streets are not wide enough?
