  1. Well there’s something we have in common – I also used to practice Taekwondo. Not any more though, too hard on the hip joints. I need something a bit more gentle these days.. 🙂

      • Yes, I think it is! Great for fitness, confidence and self defense. I have a friend in London whose young daughter is learning it too.

I did Judo when I was in my teens. Also tried bit of Krav Maga more recently, but then I got fed up of injuries and pain… These days I mainly walk, cycle and do little home workouts to stay in shape. The only martial arts I see now is UFC on the TV.

  2. When you believe you can-you can!

Desire is the starting point of all achievement, not a hope, not a wish, but a keen pulsating desire which transcends everything.

  3. Remind me to ALWAYS like your poetry 😀 Just kidding…I love your poetry, despite the kicking stance you have taken. Here’s to trimming the sweets in the new year 🙂

  4. Good for you, Monica! I took a form of Martial Arts and I know how challenging it is. If I had been younger I would have won more then the 3 belts I did. I am so proud of you! You also look gorgeous, so full of life and health! ❤
