Haiku: Life can be so painful

Nobody told me

That life can be so painful

And winter is here

homeless

So tender hearted

I’m with you in the feeling

Must start with prayer

by AshiAkira, my dear friend,

as a continuation of this Haiku

  1. brings to my mind some thoughts by Sylvia Boorstein:
The first two noble truths are
that life is difficult and that suffering is the tension in the mind that insists an experience be different from what it is.
The third noble truth is that peace is possible. There is a path to peace.
The path is a doable, cultivatable skill of awareness of the mind; that is the fourth noble truth.
Sylvia Boorstein (p. 95-96, Solid Ground)
